With my arms raised, palms outward, I see You and welcome You rising as a sun in glory on Earth. I see You clothed in gold, brilliantly radiant in blinding splendor. Your glorious radiance pierces through me burning away the small self with its petty desires and fears, and awakening the awareness of your Spirit in me: "Beloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." (1 John:3,2) In this awareness there is no more me. There is only You. There is only me welcoming You. I offer myself as a microcosm of Earth. Please establish Your kingdom fully in me.
"[People] will therefore see God if they are to live; through the vision of God they become immortal and attain to God himself...God will be seen by [those] who bear his Spirit and are always waiting for his coming."--St. Irenaeus
